:idea: While installing the matting in the rear under-deck storage the other day I discovered that the screws which hold my seat pedastal bases to the deck are long (about 1 1/4") and have a really sharp point on them. These pose a safety hazard and could also tear/puncture any soft gear (bags) that I might stow under there. I do believe I'll be changing them to stainless bolts, washers, and lock nuts in the near future. I'll also have the do the ones for the front pedastal as they extend into the front deck storage. At least they're easy to get to....kinda. [-o<

The screws look out-of-line, but that's due to the angle I took the pic from:
