I've been googling rod holder's. Can't seem to find any that will work on my jb. The rail's on my boat are round, plenty of stuff out there for the rectangular shaped ones, and ones ya have to drill holes for, just not for round. I want them to be removeable and able to place anywhere around the boat. Seem's most older jb's top rail's are round, hard to believe there's nothing out there! Will I have to make my own? Any idea's?

seems like many of the clamp-ons could work. Might just have to use a spacer???

Driftmasters. Excellent rod holders and they have bases made for jon boats. You can pick them up at Bass Pro, Cabelas and many other places.

Check out the Pro 203-B and Lil' Pro 213-B at the following link that will bolt to the round gunnels. They also have the clamp on style near the bottom of the page, if you prefer them.

Thanx for the ideas. I really like that Macgyver!! I believe that is what I'll do. Very clever. I can see why they call you Macgyver!
