I am looking to put a white or red pinstripe on some steel gray Interlux Brightside paint. What is the best way to do so? Tape around a pattern, lightly sand and then paint the stripe the desired color? or some other way? Do they sell tape? I think the painting might look best, but what do I know. Any help is appreciated.

You should be fine sanding and painting over.

But why bother? Fish do not care about pinstripes (of course I am against painting a boat for the same reasons = especially the bottom!)
