Hey fellas, need some advice on securing framework to the "ribs" on the bottom of boat. I'm putting a deck up front with a post/seat and I need the framework to be secure/strong and attached tight to the bottom. Below are pics of the floor before my mod. Any ideas would be great! Thanks Del 8)

I used #14 - 2.5" self tapping screws (3/8" bolt head) to mount mine to the ribs... I used 3/4" board, so make sure the lenght of screw you use doesn't go through the bottom.

You could counter sink the screw heads to keep a flat surface.. worked great in mine

I used aluminum rivets with strong ties which i mounted to the ribs of the boat.
