Looking to buy a used boat this winter and mod it, because my 10 foot jon boat isnt leaving me with many options lol

I'll be bass fishing, and I was wondering what the pros cons are for jon boats and types of v boats. My main concern is stability, so it seems like a deep v would be best, correct?

Any input would be great

I might be wrong but I'm thinking,no.
Deep V's are stable and great for big water fishing and cutting the waves but they still roll. The normally draw more water also.
You don't see to many deep V bass boats, alot of bass fishing is done in shallows.
Personally I'd look for a wide mod V jon, wider the better. You will gain alot of stablity out of a wide boat.Just my opinion.

You need a mod V more stable than a semi V.Mod V is the same as a flat bottom jon but with a V in the bow to handle chop.I would seriously consider a 1448 or larger to deck.
