After a long ice season and closed gamefish season in WI, I will be reunited with my boat in 2 weeks.

I might have posed this question sometime last year, but does anyone have any recommendations for restoring the color of fiberglass?

I need to spruce up the redness.

Look closely and my TinBoats sticker is below the area that needs its color restored. :)

At this point I will take anything that works. If you have links handy where something can be ordered online and arrive within 1 week, that'd be great! FYI - not looking to break the bank - just need something to get the job done.

Lastly, does Bass Pro sell anything suitable, or have what I'm looking for?

I have always had good luck with West Marine when it comes to fiberglass materials, etc. and they have always been very helpful with any questions I've had. you might check them out:

I'd start with Meguiars No. 7. The only problem with using #7 is you have to use it two or three times a year. It has a high oil content that works wonders on oxidized paint and gel-coat but it doesn't last as long as I'd like it to. This is going to be the cheapest and easiest way to go.

Here is some info on #7 https://www.superiorcarcare.net/meg7showcarg.html

The other (more time consuming and expensive) option is to remove the oxidation that is dulling your gel-coat. 3M has an automotive system called Trizact that is used to polish vehicles. Part of the system is a 3000 grit sandpaper. Use that to get the oxidation off then polish with their Perfect-It Trizact polishes and glaze. Follow it up with a wax to protect it.

It is simple and easy to use.It is usually as simple as washing and wiping down the boat, unless it's really bad.
