I have just bought this 1979 15.5' Tom Boy Tri - Hull, and I like to add to it! But I haven't worked with fiberglass for 40 years and can't remember how to mix the fiberglass. Also how do I fix cracks on top of boat. Also need to know how to put a live well with wire connections and pumps and I wuld like to put carpet down to make it no slipping if it gets wet!
One more thing I like to put on the trailer, Roller Bunks which I had bought earlier?

I would use epoxy with fiberglass cloth or chopped mat.Cloth wets out easier but doesn't make sharp bends well. The older boats use vinylester resins which are expensive and sometimes hard to come by.Plus they are dangerous to use in enclosed places.Epoxy isn't as bad. This is the cheapest epoxy kits I have found. https://www.shopmaninc.com/epoxy.html#epoxhard They also have fiberglass cloth and mat.

I still working on the 14' Grumman Semi V -Hull. Which has less holes then it did before! I bought this green stuff from Cabelea's and use propane to heat it up and melts on the boat.Just have to find all the holes. Then I will have the bottom redone with Gell Coat. Then put all together again and then sell it!So how do like thisw boat I bought this time less work on it and handles better also!
