any thoughts or ideas feel free to tell me. I am thinking about going with the maximum rating for the motor (15hp).

the boat is looking great! keep us informed i would love to see the finished product. the deck looks great i hope mine turns out like that when i get it done or started

welcome. boat looks good. some of you ga boys need to move to oklahoma so we can start a club here. yes, im getting jealous.

Boat looks really good.

What part of GA are you in? We have people on here from Canton, Dacula, Hiram, Cartersville, Acworth, Hepzibulah (I have no idea how to spell that one.) , Dahlonega... and I know there are a few more, but I can't remember everybody.

What kind of paint did you use to paint the exterior of your boat? I like that original color look

Nice boat, I like what you have done with it.....what paint and what color did you use? I plan on painting mine this fall and would love for it to look that good.......Nice rig.....I agree max out the motor you will be happier...
Tight Lines....Flintcreek

Thanks for all of the warm welcomes guys. I'm in Augusta Ga. i don't have any pictures while the work was going on. The paint i used was just the Krylon Ultra flat camo spray cans. I primed it with self etching primer, and sanded that when dry, laid a coat of the green on it, and sanded that, then put a final coat on. Today i got an offer on it (600) so i think im going to let it ride, i would like one that is wider. with it being a 1432 its a tad bit tippy. but don't worry i will have another one to mess around with asap. Once again thanks for all of the welcomes!

What kind of self etching primer did you use? And was it sprayed on or rolled? What grit paper were you using to sand between coats? Ive got a 1448 I am getting ready to repaint in the coming weeks and would love a factory green color like yours...I just know nothing about painting...

good call... that 32" floor is tippy - especially if you want to stand while fishing

Boat looks good. Just finished work on my 14ft landau as well. I ordered new vinyl graphics for the side. If your interested the site I used was.-

They are reasonably priced and offer a lot of options for customizing the lettering, size, color, etc. They came out good for what I was looking for.
