how hot

how hot does steelflex get if left in the sun...im wanting to put it on the top of my aluminum decks but i dont want it to hot on my feet so that i wont be able to stand bare footed or kneel down?

The water under and around the hull usually keeps the floor cool,at least it does on my bare aluminum floor.

well it will be on top of my decks so there wont be any contact with water

Mine is tinted black and the boat has been upside down on sawhorses in direct sun, and it didn't feel too hot to me. That said, why do you want to put it on your decks? Sounds like a bad idea to me.

I guess color will depend a lot on how hot it will become.

I had both black and gray in the sun on a couple of hot days in Jersey, and it got hot, not going to lie. I wouldn't want it on my feet, but that's just me.
