Found a Lowe Jumbo 16 V with trailer for $800.00 (no motor).
Its in good shape

Seem like a good buy.

Anyone have any experience with this hull???

I dont like the fact it has a center bench and no floor but for $800.00 I think I could live with it, Add a floor and maybe modify later to make it walkthrough.

Any advice?

Thanks!

Trailer is little rough but I could put it on mine after I sell my jon boat.
Looks like a 20" transom, so I will need another motor as well.

juts like the last poster, try to see if they can go down in price. but looks like a good buy

Here is my thoughts on making it walk-thru:

I would not remove it completely, but make it "walk thru", like the Lund SSV seats.
I would not completely cut out the center section and would reinforce it with a section of 3/4 marine plywood along the base & sides of the cut out.
When I add the floor, I would bring it up too the same level as the cutout.
Anyone have any pics of adding a simple wooden floor to a SemiV? Jon boats are easy, the floor is flat!

Basically the same boat as I have, that one is just newer.

How do you like it?
Run good with a 25, under load?
What does she draft, motor up?
I'm still negotiating with the "boss"!

love the boat, very stable, runs great with the 25, think it drafts about 4 inches . not sure but it isn't much more than that.

Finally got down to personally inspect the boat in question. Ugh, rough shape. Lots older than it looks and a lot of oxidation/salt corrosion. :(
I will pass on this one. Thanks for all your input anyway!
