What's it worth

Found this boat locally. 14', comes with the trolling motor. Considering buying it to fix up. He is asking $500. Think it's worth something around that? Looks to be pretty decent size (wide/deep). Had a 28hp on it so it must be.

I'd probably offer him $350-$400 and see what he says. If the boat doesn't leak, trailer tires, lights, and accessories are good, it's probably worth a little more than that. It is in definate need of a paint job.

yeah it would be for a pretty good restore project. Steelflex, paint, complete interior restore, trailor work, etc
