It's kind of rare for you to get hurricanes, isn't it??
We have our fingers crossed about our area. After Katrina, I woldn't wish that experience on my worst enemies. We were without power for 27 days and we were one of the lucky ones without much damage. We live just far enough inland that the storm surges can't reach us.
Now back to fishing!!!

We get alot of high winds not to many strong hurricanes.
Even this one died out here to a catagory 1,then tropical storm.
Still some nice storm surges though.
Did loose power for 5 days this winter,due to one.
Seems the last couple years,we've been getting more.

If I went sea level,they would have been better.
The waves were pretty high,just didn't want to risk getting to close.
