This morning my wife and I headed to Mammoth Cave National Park (about 2 hrs from here), just to get out of the house for awhile. Didn't take any of the cave tours, but did walk some trails for the exercise. Here are some random shots I snapped:
Main cave entrance: (the air that comes out of there is nice, as it stays 54 degrees down there year-round)
Footbridge leading to a trail:
A fallen tree lying on the bank of the River Styx Spring. I climbed down about a steep 50' embankment to get to it. Wife thinks I'm nuts. The bad part was that I had to climb back up, lol.
All shots taken with the Nikkor 18-55mm AF, VR.
