What kind of remote did you get? A wireless or a wired one?

Waterfowler,
I got the wired one MC-DC2.From what i have read most wire less you need to be in frount of cam me i like to be be hind it.

I plan on going for the water falls alot of them around here.

I thought they made wireless remote for your camera like they do for the D300 But I guess they don't Here the one I was talking about they have for the D300.https://cgi.ebay.com/Wireless-Remote-N8-Nikon-D200-D300-D700-D3-D2x-D1x-/390148122034?pt=Camera_Camcorder_Remotes You can use them from behine the D300. I would like to get one. It would be good for Lightning when it not raining out.
