Got this shot last month when the lake at city park was frozen. It's a bit grainy from cropping it out of a larger view.

Did you bump up the saturation also?

Just slightly touched the Saturation/Vibrance in this one. Also did some dodging on the cattails, as they were fairly dark. Bumped the colors a bit using Curves, then applied Unsharpen Mask.

Nice shot..I just took a similar photo too weeks ago I havn't proccessed yet. I was thinking of processing it as an HDR.

. Looking fwd to seeing your HDR shot. I've yet to do any HDR, but maybe come warm weather when I can setup a tripod and do some bracketed shots.
