I have one or two Wiggle Warts, but have never seen the hook extended on the chain before. Is this something you did?

Comes like that out of the box - rigged for salmon and steelhead.

For those of you not in Salmon/Steelhead areas, that's a Siwash hook. Most of my buddies swear by them for better hook-ups. I don't fish for them enough to really tell the difference.

I'll usually switch out the trebles for siwash's. A lot of salmon lures come with both kinds of hooks, giving you the option.
