Went to Union Lake the other day and saw Swans wit 4 little guys,....went today, two of the little guys were missing. We had a storm pass throw, wondering if it was too much for him. Two older gentlemen were feeding them and I heard the one say one of the Mature swans had a wound on its leg, UMMM!!!!!!

About 3 weeks ago, I was treated to the sight of eagles soaring just over the heads of swans swimming with Canadian Geese and at least 3 species of ducks in open water between the ice and frigid banks of the Mississippi River. Here's a sample picture that I dumbed-down for email:
