We visited John D. MacArthur Beach State Park Friday while buying our new motors. We saw these trees that looked like they belonged in a horror movie. They had roots growing from their limbs. They are called Strangler Fig trees. They looked like they would wrap you up as you walked by.
It was a pretty cool park. Inshore Mangrove swamp on the inside and the Atlantic on the other side.
