OK I'm going to ask a ? and yes I tried to search......I have a 1972 Johnson 20hp....I is missing the rod for slow speed enrichment ? +/- rich/lean...anyway it seems to be no longer available....I can maybe make 1 if maybe someone can give me a length?... or does it matter much?

I'm sure it's not real crucial for an exact measurement.. but I just measured my motor at 3 and 5/16 inches from center to center on the bends

I was thinking of just bending a close hanger or some kind of rod like that...put some clamps on the ends and call it a day....see any reason that would not work?

Yeah clothes hanger is probably the perfect diameter rod to use
