Looking to get a starter and starter bracket for my 1973 Johnson 25HP. I'm looking to convert it from pull start to electric and have everything else i need but the starter and mounting bracket. Any info would be GREATLY appreciated. If you know where i could find them, please let me know. Looking to get this done ASAP, so any help would be great. Thanks!!

There is a guy in Dickinson, Texas that has a salvage yard that had a couple of rebuilt starters and starter brackets for year range motor. (18hp, 20 and 25hp Motors of that time period had alot of similar parts) I am not advertising for this guy, but I am just passing his information along, because I brought a electric starter bracket from him about 5 months ago for my 1970 Evinrude 18hp motor.

Well this is the email address and information for Bobby Chapman (the gentlemen that lives in Dickinson, Texas), he has a OMC, Evinrude, and Johnson motor and parts collection and salvage yard.
