I have a 1983 evinrude 25hp motor and I am needing a diagram for the wiring. I pulled some wires off and now it will not turnover. I have 1 strap that I do not know where it goes. I think it goes from ground to solenoid but I am not sure which terminal. Can anyone help?

If it is a braided stainless strap it goes to ground. Go to this site and look up your engine and then parts diagram and follow it.
