69 Rude Parts

So I downloaded the manual from the thread on the site (thanks!)

However I was told now that we appear to have a pull crank issue and an internal part malfunction (something broke)

Anyone got a spot to by Engine parts for this old beast?

Why not just take the recoil assembly to an authorized dealer and have him repair it? Common parts for those are all still available. Should be a fairly reasonable repair also. Most out and out parts failures on those are caused by the rope being shortened along the way by someone and then pulling the recoil until the spring or hub fails at the spring retainer from being pulled too hard.
