Chrysler 6 hp outboard?

I may be purchasing a early 80's 6 hp Chrysler outbard for $100, it runs good but i am wondering when something breaks or needs replaced how hard will it be to find parts for it?

Is it still worth it buying this engine if it will be impossible to find parts for?

I am no help on a Chrysler outboard.

Mostly because my grandpa told me to never buy one.

I had a 9.9 Chrysler and never had any problems with it. y There are always parts listed for Chrysler outboards on e-bay.

Thanks, i figure il go ahead and buy it considering its only $100, i can always sell it for parts if something happens to it.
