I think their ok but not as good as a name brand motor. Parts are expensive. If the motor isn't cheap then don't buy it.
 
I picked up a 7.5 hp last season, it has done me fine. If you could get it for a good price and you hear it run you should be good.
 
I paid $400 for the motor. it is in great shape cranks and runs good, and it came with a 5 gallon tank. Probally could have found a better deal if i could have waited. You know how the prices go up a little in the spring and summer months.
