Back in the day, outbaords had to be registered in OH. I need to find a way to get old stickers from the 60's off of a motor without damaging the paint. I was able to peel one of em right off but the other 2 are stuck pretty good. Any ideas? You can see the stickers here.

Heat gun would be my first choice. The aluminum shroud should absorb the heat nicely while the adhesive on the stickers should loosen fairly quick. Would not use chemicals on that beautiful paint!

Thanks for the tips guys. I dont have a heat gun so I got the wifes hair dryer out. (Shhhhhhhh) It worked perfectly!! Now I have a couple squares where the paint is a little more shiny than the rest but at least it dosnt have those hideous stickers stuck to it!! Thanks again.
