This probably should go in the classifieds....wish I would have waited to buy a motor after seeing this seems like a heck of deal.

Does this like it's to good to be true it just seems like a really good deal. My mind tells me this motor is worth about 2000.00.

Well worth checking out. The only way I'd purchase a outboard at the price is if he'd let me boat test the motor and then I'd start the dealing at $1,000. You just need to weigh the cost of a new 15hp outboard at $2,500 against the costs of what looks like a nice used one.

I think its priced accordingly with some wiggle room for him to go down some in price.
When you get in the $1000+ range for a 15hp motor it makes them tough to sell. He probably wouldn't get more then a $1K for it in my area but in other states that motor might go for close to his asking price.

is say it is priced accordingly, it is not a 2k motor by any means, a 4 stroke 2011 can be bought for 2-2200.
