Should a Nissan 15hp 4 Stroke be enough motor to get a 1652 Polarcraft on plane? I am not looking for a speed demon I already have this motor from my previous boat and don't want to have to buy another motor.

It should but it really depends on weight. If the boat is empty with one person in it it will move. But when you add people, fishing gear, cooler, batteries, trolling motor and water the weight starts to pile on quickly.

I guess I will give it a try can't hurt and if it isn't I will upgrade to a larger motor later.
