Hi,
So today i installed the in-line fuel/water separator hooked to our new 2011 Honda BF25.Beeing so exited i forgot to undoo the vent knob on the fuel reservoir...so i primed the bulb and then suddenly i noticed that there is fuel in the clear cup that is under the fuel filter which i thought should not have anything in it unless it's water...when i did open the vent the air rushed out,the priming bulb hardened and i fired up for the first time our outboard...wow,it purred like a kitten. The filter assembly is made by Racor for Honda right in US.Did a wreck anything ?...is that area suppossed to have fuel in it ?...here is a picture...
Thank you,
Dan

Hi crazymanme2, first thank you for reply. So when the fuel is contaminated with water will it show at the bottom of the clear bowl ?...because water is heavier than gas ?...is it how it works ? #-o
Thank you,
