Hey I have the motor mentioned above, and it runs very slow... I have no idea why. It starts upo fine but doesnt get to a fast speed. it is running just above idling speed. Anyone have suggestions?

Check the vent on the tank. Then the fuel pump and the carb. Any of those could be plugged up. also check the fuel lines, they could be getting eaten up with ethanol.

its on a 14' fiberglass, thats enough motor per boat right?

Check the basics, including whether the throttle blades are fully opening. Good spark on both cylinders (should jump a 1/4" gap with spark plugs removed) good compression, etc. Get back to us after you have done this.
