I found an ad on craigslist for a 72-73 7hp sea king motor. I called the guy and he said the motor wont start and you cant get the pull cord to pull. I asked him how much he wanted and he said $20. I thought well if the motor is locked up the i can still get atleast $30 for scrapping it. when i got to his house he gave me the motor, and a 4 gallon gas tank full of gas for $20. what a deal. I got it home and found out that it was the shirr pin that was stopping it from moving. I had the motor running within 20 minutes. that was the deal of the day. here are some pics of the motor on my sea king 12' boat. the cowl needs a new paint job. tight lines
