Hello out there i have an older 1977 mercury 110 9.8 tiller on a 1442 monark. motor runs great has electric start and tiller handle. I recently purchased the boat from the original owner, my question is the boat has foward controls teleflex stick steer with bracked that works great but the foward mount control box does not start the engine at this time, i believe it to be a wire that is not grounded under the engine cover but not sure if there is anything in the tiller i have to unhook in order to be able to use the foward mount control box?
