I have a Minn Kota Endura 50 trolling motor on my Tracker 12' Tadpole and broke one of the blades off the prop today on a stump.
I have been happy with the performance of the original Weedless Wedge 2 blade prop but was wondering if there was something better.
Has anyone tried one of their Power Props and been able to tell any difference in speed?
What about Kipawa Props? I like the 3 blade design and in theory it seems like it would give more top speed or at least pull more water so you could run the motor at a slower speed. The only concern I have with them would be a higher amp draw causing the motor to heat up.
I am not worried about sending the motor in for a warranty repair and having the wrong prop on it.
I normally fish in pretty clean water with very little grass or weeds, so weedless is not really an issue either.
I was really looking for a little more speed and better control on windy days.
