Thinking of buying one later in the year. Anybody running one of these and if so, what do you like or dis-like about this motor, and what kind of service have you had with it? Thanx! :-k 8)

Only wish I did.
From the reading I've done on them,they are top dogs in that horsepower range.(25-30hp)

In general they have been stellar engines. No complaints from the guys running them.

They weigh about 40 pounds more than the equivalent Yammy 25HP 2-stroke, which may or may not matter.

True but with almost 200cc more and meets/exceeds today's standards,I know where I'd be looking.
Man sound like a dealer...I'm not just kinda want a 30-25hp.

I too want a 25 ETec. I just got my Evinrude catalog with DVD in the mail yesterday. :mrgreen:

3 years no service and then sercive every 3 years, self fogging, 500 rpms, and no break in period. How low rpms will the Yamaha go?
