Guys....anyone know if the Mercury V6 power heads have the same bottom mount pattern as the Mariner V6 engines?

I blew up my Promax 225 and am looking for a replacement. I know that I can replace with any V6 Merc in the 2.0, 2.4, 2.5 liters. I don't know if that is also true for the Mariner power heads.
 
Should be able to. I know the smaller motors are the same llike 40-60hp motors I figure mercury and mariner are about like johnson and evinrude. Just fininshed working on a 9.9hp mariner and on the tag on the inside of the hood it said mercury outboards.
 
Thanks Cody....I was thinking the same thing.

I will probably be heading your way again sometime this weekend. I need to pick up the pieces and bring them home. #-o
