:LOL2: I am in need of some advice. I am looking at purchasing a strong running 1970 25HP EVINRUDE outboard motor. I have just purchased a used old 1980's Sea Nymph 14R and plan on converting it to a fishing boat with platform. I would like to put steering on the boat, but I am concerned about the pull start motor, VS electrical start motors.

Thanks fpr your advice on this subject.

You can add electric start by just buying a starter, mounting bracket, solenoid, and a starter button. Electric choke would be nice to add on as well.
I would pass on the outboard you mentioned and buy an outboard that already has everything on it with the controls and control box included.
