What type of ignition does a 76 15 hp plain jane johnson have ,is it points or cdi chequing one out on kijiji (like ebay in Canada) price is fair ,but curious about the spark system,,,,
 
I have the same year Evinrude & it has points.Mine runs a driver coil under the flywheel & 2 coils for each cylinder on the outside.
