Anybody have a good carburetor pic i can look at.It seem that the prop engagement safety tab and the throttle stop are not aligned properly. Any help would be appreciated.

Need to be more specific....prop engagement safety tab......non existant. Back then that engine could be started in any gear.
Your engine should be a 10hp with the shift in the front of the cowling?

1952 QD-13 has a safety tab on the shifter and the carburetor in order prevent shifting at high RPM's and to save the shear pin and lower gears. I know this because i own an original.
