The fuel pump needs to be rebuilt so I got the Sierra rebuild kit and pulled it apart And honestly I'm not sure if it's all there. Everything i've seen online shows a small spring and a larger spring. This one only has the larger spring. And the small nipple that goes to the carb is on the top on this pump and all the pictures i've found have it at the bottom.

Does anyone know of a good exploded view of the pump and the parts?

Of course right after I post this my search yields me this
https://www.leeroysramblings.com/Rebuilding_fuelpump.htm

Going by it mine is definitely wrong. I'm sure someone has messed with it before.

Thanks

Think you are right about the springs. Most pumps have those. Had you bought the OEM kit there is an exploded view in most of the instruction sheets.
No one had the OEM kit in stock. Is it better then the Sierra kit?

The Sierra kit ended up having everything I needed to do the rebuild. Whoever went into it before I got it didn't put the small spring in. I put it in this time and it seems to be working fine.

Thanks
