I'm restoring a 1974 Evinrude fisherman and i was wondering what the points are gapped at? Thank you for any and all advice,cheers.

I believe 20, it should be stamped under the fly wheel

Should be at .020. If your coils are original I would replace them so you dont have to pull the flywheel twice.
Should replace the water pump and also do a carb kit as well due to the fact that the old kit has a cork float among other reasons.
Would run extra oil for the first tank at least if the engine has not been run for a long period of time. Those are nice engines and well worth the expense of doing it right.
