I have a new 2010 Tohatsu 15 HP 4-stroke short shaft of a zodiac. I am trying to determine what size/make of boat would work. My objective is duck hunting and gunkholing during the summer.

Its a tiller, so I will want to add a grab rail. Thanks

Thanks. I have been looking at 1648 given gear, dog, 2 guys. I know it's not going to be a speed demon. Again, I have no desire rippin along plus 30 mph in the middle of Jan.

Rivets or weld? I am sure it's been covered but interested in your opinion.

I have a welded boat, i would buy another. My 15 pushed my 18/60 about 12 mph. After mod and repropping to a 7. I get about 10 mph. My buddys 16/48 runs about 15, I think he could re prop as well and get a little better.

Well curiosity got the best of me ,so I looked it up. Apparently I have been unknowingly doing it every time I got in a boat and went duck hunting. :LOL2:

sorry about the gunkholing. Its an old USN slang for screwing around, drinking beer while at anchor and yes duck hunting when you couldnt call in a moose much less a mallard.

again I appreciate your fee back.
