Is it possible/easy to do.. convert a 3.5hp Mercury from an integral fuel tank to an external fuel tank?

Id imagine its gravity fed so probably not. You could try hooking a fuel line from the carb to a gas can and see if it has a strong enough diaphram pump to work.

Those motors have a pump but not sure if it can pull from a remote tank...it's a simple diaphragm pump.
