old Johnson lower unit seal kits questions?

I bought a 56 15hp Johnson the other day. I also have a 54 10 hp Johnson. Will these two motors use the same seal kit? Also is the difference between the pre 57 and 58 is the prop shaft seal external size? The price between the kits is alot.

i had a 54 seahorse 10hp. the seal kit for the 57/58 wont fit. i had to get my seals from vintage outboard. or laings too.
