push button start

Hey fellas,anyone on here ever convert a key start to a push button start on a 25/30 hp ? Can it be done ? Looking at a key start 30 hp rude with a seized engine on C-List. I gotta a 25hp power head that needs a rebuild laying in the shed.

Not hard at all. Bad thing is you will need to hook up some kind of shut off switch and if it has the choke on the key, you will need to as well.

Like the other guys said, it's a fairly easy process, you just need to make sure you know the wiring. I converted mine from a push-button setup to a keyed ignition so I basically did the opposite. Make sure you know the wiring is correct though otherwise you could fry some parts and cause some damage, and its usually not cheap.
