Hello all! Love the forum, thought I'd join!! I have a 1970's 3.5hp sears outboard with a self contained gas tank. The problem is, when being stored it leaks about a drop of fuel every hour or so from the carb. The person I bought it from just cleaned the carb. Is this normal with motors with self-contained gas tanks (ie the tank gets pressure from being stored in the sun, can't disconnect the tank) or is it likely a carb issue? Thanks in advance!
