Newbie here. Just bought a G3 1860 with a 90 HP jet drive. What position do you trailer the motor in? Trimmed full down or vertical?
Thanks

I have a Jonhson 50/35 w/out power tilt/trim. I wratchet strap mine all the way down and to the right as if I was making a hard starboard turn. Mine is setup with stick steer though and Ezyglide says to strap it this way if not using a transom saver. Haven't had the motor on the boat for very long but haven't noticed any issues with the motor, steering, transom or homemade transom riser so far.

Trim it all the way down and figure out the best way to immobilize it so it doesnt slam around when you turn..
