Just ordered a new 40 4S Merc. Tiller for my rebuilt All welded Lowe roughneck jon. Total weight w engine is about 800lbs. Heard good reviews of Spitfie 4 blade aluminum. Any suggestions?
Its been my experience that 4 blade props are better for heavy loads and 3 blade props are better for speed. I have been running solas amita 3 blade aluminum props and I'm very happy with the performance especially at their price point.
