Hi All

Trying to incorporate my F90J engine instruments into my 899HD SI via NMEA 2000. I have everything working tach, temps, etc but the Trim indication. For some reason it always reads 100% on my Hummingbird. OK figured that I have a bad trim resistor on the engine. Did find a broke tab that actuates the resistor. No biggie. Took my trim sensor off the engine, cleaned it up and can move it stop to stop. Figured that would do the trick. Nope. Followed the wires back to a connection on the engine and took that apart to measure the resistance stop to stop. I read about 6 ohms at one stop and 278 ohms at the other, readings are linear and mid way is about 136 ohms.

So my question is do I have a bad trim resistor or is the Bird confused about what its getting from the Engine?

Anyone know the exact values of the trim resistor?

Thanks
