I have the motor listed above on a 14' ft alumacraft. It always starts up. It runs good then it dies. The only way to keep it going is to pump the fuel bulb as im going. It has a new fuel pump. I'm not sure what could be wrong. Any tips are appreciated.

You've probably got an air leak in the fuel supply somewhere between the fuel pump and the tank. Might be one of the connectors or possibly a crack in the primer bulb or line. And I guess you can't rule out the possibility that the new fuel pump was improperly installed/rebuilt unless it ran for a time after the installed.

Sounds like your sucking air to me. Check all your lines and connections. It's surprising how even a pinhole can make a motor fall flat on its face. Don't overlook the tank either.

Thanks guys. I'll try replacing/ tightening some hose clamps and check my connections.
