Does anyone know if the 1969 Evinrude 25's came with a prop or cam thing to hold the motor up while launching or trolling? I looked all over the motor and can't find one. If not has anyone built one?

Normally there is a lever in between your clamp brackets. Visible from the front of the engine. That is the only lock you have on it and it will lock it in the run position only so that the engine will not kick up on you with throttle in reverse. No tilt lock on those engines.
That being said there is a tilt friction adjustment at the tilt pivot point. simply tighten the nut and the engine will stay up while moored or changing a propeller etc. Probably will tilt down while trailering.
