wondering if anyone can give me some advice in regards to a 48 volt golf cart engine converted over to a boat motor. i was looking to put it on a 17 ft tracker or seark. was seeing if anyone has done this and what speed and run time they had.

How will you mount/install it? Will it be an inboard set up? I'm Concerned it wouldn't turn enough rpms for the added weight and trouble its worth. If so you would still need a big enough prop to convert it to thrust.
There are companies that make 48 and 60 volt outboards but they are pricey!
